Thankfully that discussion up to this point has been a lot different in the area I am in Canada, unfortunately the crap is still on the trucks to begin with and a major source of issues given our long cold winters and forced to idle engines a lot depending on the type of use the truck has. I don't know what the theme is for the across Canada freight truck as I imagine its most likely compliant but on/off road trucks that your survival depends on it to stay running is rather important. One local independent shop I had some work done on one of my farm highway tractors last year ( it predates the major crap on it thankfully so its stock ) , the owner of the shop said he probably deleted a truck almost every other day the year before that. Off warranty and a lot of Cummins as he more specializes in Cummins and the older Cats like I have. He points to a truck still hooked to a trailer in his yard, that one came limping in yesterday and its going to be deleted. Same with diesel pickups, many are scared to own the truck past warranty because of all the major issues and some brands have been much easier or even possible to delete vs others that have had some real road blocks preventing any changes to the system. But its a well known fact that shops are making a pile of money off of diesel owners either repeatedly repairing all this crap ( at a dealer or otherwise ) or deleting them at independent shops. Its the same deal here as well, truck dealers will not take them in on trade so have to be sold private or auction if the engine is not compliant.

I hope You all realize that the engine manufacturers had emission standards to meet for years. 2003 was no surprise EGR was coming it was the year that was mandated by the EPA. They were working on systems for years prior. Why do you think electronic injectors started in the 90’s it was for the engine to perform to the standard.

Deleted trucks are the real deal. I wouldn’t want a dealership touching anything on my truck anyway.

Watch it because they watch this for videos to come and get you for deleting your engine. Delete your video. It's only illegal in California I go all over everywhere else.

well, I'm so glad I dropped by..honeywell came out with a great turbo design.. wasn't designed for diesel though.. omg my middle name! Jethrow!...it's much easier just to cut them out from block's of steel & aluminum alloy today! diesel is made for the glow plug. not to mention, if U could see the real make up of the chemicals in diesel. it's a poor chemical salesman's wet wet dream.... all that shit aint going anywhere.. I'm hoping that new markets will be created. this will help ''everyone'' climb out of this giant pit fall !! this is always the main problem with any orginization, that's trying to just survive! the bottom line in u'r discussion!! is.. a single emissions sensor in the exhaust. my gas heater works just fine.. yes, U'r shaking that head.. sensors that don't carbonize nor oxidize! a simple electro polished side should fix that..I hate to even think about it..just because it's so disgusting! like watching open heart surgery tv!!or the feeling of my laptop computer knocking my brains out, as I go 100mph down the road!..... hydrogen could go somewhere, if it wasn't so touchy! only takes a mere thought for a spark 2 form! anyway! all that's imaginary carbonized candy! I would just like to see a solid, stable strip 2 drive on! it'll be ok.. they'll figure out how to put together a 6 piece puzzle one day! did I run ''my'' mouth enough! ha..ha.. it's my mouth thats full of it! my lungs are just the bellows on the assembly! yup! good luck! nice chop btw!
