Another great show Greg, I absolutely loved the wig! I’m also a big George Motz fan and I’m sure he’ll get a hell of a laugh out of it. Seriously I have often thought about asking you why you both don’t do a Collaboration set of videos? I think you guys would do great. Maybe make a KZitem post asking the fans

I've always referred any minced/ground meat in a Patty as a burger because that is how a sandwich was made in Hamburg Germany. BUT any food between 2 outer items are said to be "sandwiched" so IMHO burgers are a type of sandwich 😊

I’m a huge burger fan and make them all the time both on the grill and on cast irons. I’ve watched many videos of people’s versions of burgers and the one u made was right up at the top. I like the way u set ur grill up and the way u utilized it for ur cooking technique. Thanks for sharing and I’ll be trying this very soon.

Both of your channels have influenced me alot and given me tons of ideas and this video is no different. Two thumbs up! 👍👍 What I don't understand is that you use the word controversial alot. Lol.... Are there really so many people who get bent out of shape at little things like cutting open a bratwurst or putting ketchup on a burger? I'm from Texas but I've been living in Germany for over 37 years now and I can tell you that in the "land of bratwursts" people cut open bratwursts for several recipes and lots of people eat ketchup with their bratwurst. Mostly mustard but ketchup is perfectly acceptable with bratwurst and ofcourse on burgers as well. You rock!

Yes it is a burger. I mean burgers are simplicity so its not something you have to think too much about or have some set of rules about. As for the ketchup there is nothing wrong with it on a burger its just one of 20 sauces that are amazing on ground beef.
@D2Kprime

I thought I was trippin' at first when you appeared with the weird hair. XDXD The burger looks delicious. Speaking of trippin', why do people trip so hard over people putting ketchup on a hamburger? There is literally *NOTHING* wrong with doing that. If you don't like ketchup on your burger than don't put any on there. Any restaurant you go to you can ask them not to put ketchup on the burger and they won't. Just silliness. I'm thankful that I get to eat hamburgers!

Kaiser rolls are from Austria, so it's funny to hear "We don't have any german bakeries here" but basically austrian bakeries apparently? Anyway, gonna try this soon I hope. It really looks delicious, even though I'm more tempted to do smashburgers since it's already a thicc burger.
@BallisticBurgers
2 жыл бұрын
That's what I get for assuming I guess. Austria and Germany both speak German... Kaiser is obviously a German word, so it's not a huge reach to conclude that it's a German roll I guess. At least not in my mind. Thanks for watching!

It is a sandwich. Commonly called a burger. If it's between 2 slices of bread or the goods are stuffed in a roll, It's a sandwich. Hot Dogs are sandwiches to. A sausage link in a roll. A sandwich. Ketchup on a burger is legal. Ketchup on a Hot Dog Sandwich is what is illegal.
@BallisticBurgers
2 жыл бұрын
Well, this could be (and has been debated). There was actually a court argument about whether or not a taco is a sandwich. The New Webster Third International Dictionary was used in this argument describing a "sandwich" as "two THIN pieces of bread, usually buttered, with a thin layer (as of meat, cheese, or savory mixture) spread between them." I would argue that a hamburger bun isn't thin... But... My personal feeling is most restaurants have separate categories for burgers and sandwiches. Type of sandwich, yes... But it's a burger.

Ketchup on a hot dog is obviously ridiculous, but is it really that polarizing to put it on a burger? Had Shake Shack in Palo Alto last week, and you couldn’t get mustard but they did offer ketchup as a condiment 🤔 Maybe it’s an East Coast/West Coast thing…
