You asked a good question. You want to know if it's safe to pop your back, just kind of accidentally while you're moving around, while you're pregnant. There's a couple of different things that make your joints more likely to feel maybe a little unstable while you're pregnant, especially in your back and your hips. You have a hormone called relaxin that's released during pregnancy that acts on the joints of your pelvis and tells it to relax. This is in efforts to increase the internal diameter of your pelvis and make it more likely that a baby will fit through it when it comes time to deliver. So this can make you feel like this is like what makes pregnant women waddle and make you feel like your hips are going to pop out of place. And lower back pain is very normal while you're pregnant, too. But if it's persistent and you're noticing that you're having any cramping or it just won't go away, it's not associated with the position you're sitting or laying in, then it would be best to talk to your doctor and they can check you out and decide if it warrants further investigation for preterm labor. But if you just accidentally popped your back while moving around, it's probably okay as long as you're feeling fine now but if it did anything to cause more pain or make it harder for you to do anything, then it would be best to talk to the doctor about it.
