Carnivore for six weeks has already noticeably improved my MS symptoms, which I find almost too good to believe. I'm fortunate to have a milder case of MS compared to others I know, but with carnivore, my symptoms have already almost completely disappeared. Other than the occasional flare-up days, but even then it's now less than a good day before carnivore. I'm in my 50s, and I feel pretty close to 25 again! I'm even losing weight without trying, even though that wasn't ever even a consideration for me. I'm down to my college weight again. My only issue is that I struggle with constipation issues on carnivore. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it that I don't get enough fat or maybe too much cheese with my beef? For the interim, I've begun using a fiber supplement just to stay regular. I don't want to stop carnivore, and I'd like to get back to 100% natural if I can figure out the right balance to keep my system happy!

27% fat ground beef. On-sale pork picnic roast can be as low as $1/lb. Chicken leg quarters were dirt cheap as in 25 cents a pound or less - over ten years ago - but they’re usually nearer $1/lb. Whenever butter from pastured cows is on sale I buy 4 pounds and make it into ghee. Nearly two quarts.

We do a more ketovore diet. We have a garden so that includes some low carb veggies. (Almost none for hubby). We have grass fed beef, bone in skin on chicken thighs or leg quarters, our own eggs we raise, heavy cream from the store, and on occasion bacon or sausage. For a very special occasion, we buy a whole ribeye or t bone and get it sliced. We'll freeze that into portions. Also, lots of butter. I have stomach issues and migraines. Ketovore has helped me tremendously. I don't have high cholesterol. I have great triglyceride levels. My HDL is great. My calcium score is 0. A CT I had for a minor heart defect that was congenital, also showed 0 blockages. So, not saying eating this way is for everybody. But I will say it works for me.

Eating primarily, or entirely meat, is cheap compared to fast food, or even eating at home if eating WAY too much, which people eating sugars and empty processed carbs tend to do. The first corrections to make are 1) stop drinking sugars and 2) eating modest portions. Eating meat helps with #2, as easting meat is more satiating for longer. Another adjustment to make is to get it into your thick head that not being bloated by sugars/carbs does not ual being hunfry and needing to eat something. THat not being a bloated carb balloon is a normal feeling, not an emptiness!

The moment when I mistakingly put myself on a cheaty carnivore diet in college by thinking just making meat and eggs sounds like a really good idea to cut out a lot of extra calories. I do love fruit but it’s so expensive and everything online scares me of how bad it can be for you if over-consumed and fruit is not filling to me so I always do over consume it. I would love to try to put vegetables in but I literally get zero pleasure out of any vegetables so it furthers my mind to not even waste my time cooking something I’m not even gonna like (I hate cooking in general) but all that being said I still do drink Gatorades, body armors, juices, and soda from time to time so I can’t say I’m anywhere close to perfection. (Also yes I know I’m being a hypocrite when I say I care about calories but then drink pure garbage) but what can I say I drank only water for a whole year and barley saw any changes, honestly I was more bloated than ever before because I was over indulge in chugging water every time I got the urge to drink something else. I also don’t drink 5 juices or sodas a day or anything crazy like that and I do count the calories but I know it’s still not good for you.

Good vid. Not to be a downer but if anyone is interested I encourage to look into how the animal is fed and treated. Because all toxins go into the animal fat that you’re ingesting. It should be illegal what they put into cheaper food. For example- the eggs shown here are prob the chickens that are fed a grain that makes their egg yolk look as nutritious as organic pasture raised eggs. The better eggs are more expensive but for 3 bucks worth I can make scrambled eggs that fill me for most of the day.

Instead I buy a whole prime brisket at Sam's for 3.99 a lb and grind it myself or have them do it for free of charge. Just like pork Boston butts aka shoulders will go on sale for 99 cents a pound buy as many as u can for the freezer! Also most places will cut or grind for free if u want pork steaks or country style ribs etc.

I have an honest question, I've noticed over these Carnivore diet videos that you use a lot of butter. Does this cause issues with your cholesterol? This diet looks really interesting!
@Uber_Steve_Confessions
3 ай бұрын
Absolutely not, fats aren't the cause of cholesterol, it's sugar and carbohydrates that do. Loads of doctors talking about it now on KZitem if you search. Dr Berry is one I follow. Fats are essential for brain function and bowel health, especially when your diet no longer follows the idea of 'dietary fibre' for bowel movement. I've been on carnivore for 8 months as a nearly 40 year old, and I now feel better than I did in my 20s. I've lost 45lb and so many of my friends and family can't believe the change that they've all started it too! Some might say that carnivore is bad for the environment, with the large consumption of beef, but a half cow would feed me for an entire year, so I deny that claim too.

@@jeffhines73 Ahh yes the always it's not that hard argument. Takes time, effort, and skill to do it right and in the quantity needed for a full carnivore diet. You could make your own but is the time and effort worth it especially if yours a working person?
