It makes so much sense to create a new positive pathway in your brain. So brilliant that you managed to turn it around and habituate. I've had tinnitis for years. It's always there, but I can't say it has a huge impact on my life, unlike my Auditory Processing Disorder.

Thank you for sharing. I don’t know much about auditory processing! How does it impact your life if you don’t mind me asking? I hope there are ways to find relief for you❤️

I never thought I’d be able to sit and read a book in silence but now I’m so at peace with the noise that I can! Try putting some calming music on in the background. Don’t let tinnitus stop you from simple pleasures in life❤

does sound therapy have to be exclusively white noise? How about crickets or waterfalls or rain?

Great question! - Sound therapy doesn't have to be limited to white noise, it can include a variety of soothing sounds such as rainfall, ocean waves, forest ambiance, or even gentle music. The goal of sound therapy is to provide a pleasant and relaxing auditory environment that helps mask or distract from the perception of tinnitus. Different people may find different types of sounds more effective or comforting, so it's worth experimenting to see what works best for you. Ultimately, the most important aspect is finding a sound that you personally find soothing and that helps you manage your tinnitus symptoms effectively! 😊

I fell for the quick fixes at 1st, all the head tapping etc. Its all aimed at views unfortunately, perhaps they believe in it who knows? So glad I found Oto, while I can still hear it its not so bothersome now. I would prefer to go back to silence but hey ho. Maybe one day my brain will cotton on to that.

I’m guilty too! Worth a try I guess 🤷♀️ The great thing is, ANYONE no matter what the circumstances can habituate. It takes time but you’ll get there. Never thought I would! So glad you’re finding Oto helpful! Keep up the great progress on your journey 🤗

Hey! 😊 It’s taken a while to get used to them with all the new sounds but it’s certainly a better way of life than before having them. I’m definitely used to the feeling of having them in now though! I’ll make an update video soon 🦻🏻
