Friend of mine did the same in a Mercedes W140 600SEL. He was really sick and almost dying so he drove himself to the hospital in car with a dying battery. He had put another in the back. When he got to the hospital , the battery died completely so he hooked the charged battery up and got the connections back to front and fried the wiring but the car ran long enough for him to get into the car park. Car is still sitting in the field near his shed. 😁😁

Warren, Back in the Eighties, a local trucking company s owners son took a load to New Jersey with his KW Cabover with an 8V92 in it and when he woke up the ext day at the reciever, the truck would crank normally, but wouldn't start. He said it had plenty of fuel in it, so his dad sent a wrecker 500 miles with another truck on the hook for him and brought the broke down one back home to the Detroit Diesel branch. They didn't have it for an hour, and they called him and said it was fixed and ready to pick up. All they did was put a whole lot of oil back in it(the kid had been idling it all the time and wasn't checking the oil). I know how much you like Detroit Diesels, haha.

Warren, those tank vents are FREAKING HORRIBLE! I've had more problems with the vents plugging and since they only have one fuel tank sender now, more than once I've had a driver run out, or more commonly, get real close, all because the vent plugged

@cranemech567

I was going to suggest that he check the tank vents also. I had a driver run out of fuel with one tank completely full. As far as the people moving over, I had an old tow truck driver tell me it used to be common for them to toss a 4x4 out into the lane of traffic to get people to slow down while they were hooking up. They would probably charge you with manslaughter these days.

It doesn't have any, (or) It ain't got no, "Go Go Juice!!" Lol!🤣 By the way... Yeah! Really stinks, when folks do not have enough common sense to move over. (noticed the Step Deck Driver from "United Rental", zoomed past you on the highway, and practically blew your doors off.) While your working on the side of the road. Cheers! 🛠🚛👍🏼 P.S. For example: Michigan's Move Over law, requires motorists to slow down and move over for stationary vehicles with flashing, rotating, or oscillating lights activated. You'll find, the law exists in all 50 states, but the specifics vary slightly. On a side note... Don't Lose Your Sense of Humor, Warren. My dog used to chase people on a bike a lot. It got so bad, finally I had to take his bike away. Lol! 🤣
