I lived next door to your dad. I'm a few years younger. Is Richard (Dicky), his brother, still around?

That means Kinnelon High, I suppose. My first concert was It's Us opening for the Left Banke at KHS. not sure if you remember, but they were called the Orbitrons before this. I think they played Stonybrook School with that name (prior to their regular haying at the Baggy Knees in Butler). Which Joseph girl were you pals with Ann or Carol? My best best friend in those days was Don's brother, Dicky. Our band, UFO, with Jeff Swett, used to practice in the boiler room behind the Mountain Road basement in which It's Us rehearsed. Do you recall the VW van they used to drive around - the Us Bus? When he came to my wedding back in '86 I managed to badger Tim Warren into putting this track on one of his Back to the Grave comps. Recently got a copy from an old Smoke Rise friend to replace the one I'd lost, after buying it at the Kin'Lon Spa way back when. Such a great track!

"Take my advise now girl and go back home!" is how I hear that verse :) but who knows! Killer song either way. A little like the weird Electric Lollipop song The Lightning Bug! Look it up here.

Thanks for sharing the lyrics to this wonderful song. This should've been a hit, but that's the way it goes at times.
