bro.... it does NOT take 21 days to build/ break a habit. it takes 66 - 254 days. trying to build 6 new habits in 4 months is a sure way to make no progress. the more strenuous the habit is (working out) the longer it will take to become a habit, whereas waking up early to journal or read will take less time. and it doesn't take 90 days to break free from porn. depending on how bad the habit is it will take 5 - 8 months for a full dopaminergic reset. i HIGHLY suggest adding new habits to your stack every 66 days. it works like a charm for me. mind you this is after years of thinking it only takes 21 days then getting burnt out again and again. don't give bad advice man. but other than that you are right about it only taking 20 hours to learn a skill.

I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊 Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable. Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Go to parableofthevineyard youtube channel for information about the bible and good bible studies. I'm in no way paid or sent by him for advertising. I just have learned a lot from his content. He's just a man who is trying to learn as well. :) Yeshua died so we may be resurrected to eternal life.....

This is not a good video man. As someone who has spent an extended period of time learning 3 other foreign languages over several years (focused and dedicated learning), you just can't learn 90% of thr language in 20 hours. The 'connecting words' that you're referring to are called 'particles' and they account for about 30% of all language - not 90%. You simply cannot focus on learning particles at the expense of other words in the language - it doesn't work like that. The understanding of particles comes from massive amounts of context, which requires exposure. You are basing this on absolutely nothing at all. In 4 months of immersion, only speaking your target language for several hours per day with the help of a teacher and someone who you can enjoyably practice with all day - then yes, you absolutely could learn a language to a high level of competency in that time. What you said is completely baseless. 4 months of doing the minimum effective dose of anything is enough time to make amazing progress in anything. The biggest shifts in my career and health came from being consistent for at least 3-4 months - its a long time. But the minimum effective dose varies from skill to skill. For better skin you could make massive changes in just 15-20 minutes per day. But 15 minutes a day of lifting weights or learning to code or learning a language isn't really enough. This argument that 20 hours to aquire competency is a universal across all skills is ridiculous. Plus, the guy from Ted Talk youre referring to was absolutely fucking shit at most of the things he tried to learn in 20 hours.
@traywaters1575

You really gonna try and shit on a guy saying to try and improve within your busy life? He’s saying if you can spare at least an hour a day, you can start getting more confident in whatever the skill is. Or rather I should listen to you and just give up since it’s not possible?
