Ingredients for 1 portion
Essential:
60 ml (2 fl oz) - espresso or coffee
50 ml (1 and 2/3 fl oz) - 33% cream
50 ml (1 and 2/3 fl oz) - water
2 tsp - sugar
5-6 ice cubes
Optional:
20 ml (2/3 fl oz) - coffee liqueur
Method:
1. Brew the espresso or coffee in any preferred way.
2. Add sugar to the coffee and stir well. Allow the drink to cool.
3. If desired, add liqueur to the cooled coffee.
4. Blend the mixture with a blender until it becomes frothy.
5. Place ice in a serving glass and pour the beverage over it.
6. Spoon the cream gently onto the beverage to create foam.
