Ivaaaaaaan! Always glad to see you pop back up on my feed. I hope you’ve been getting better and I’m constantly sending you positive vibes. Man, we’ve been getting a LOT of comic book characters this season, aren’t we? It’s getting a little bit stale. I’m super familiar with both characters, and figured Magneto would be the winner by a pretty big margin. Akira is a fantastic, groundbreaking anime and manga that laid the foundation for so much that came after it so you should definitely check it out, but Magneto has just been around for far far too long and is way way too powerful, not just in scale, but also in fine control and creative versatility. I’m actually really looking forward to the next battle! Actual mythological figures isn’t something they’ve ever covered before and I’m really interested to see how they handle the analysis portion for something that doesn’t have any visual medium. Even with comic characters they’ve done a great job with animating panels in a creative way, but these are figures that only appear in prose and oral retellings, with some various unrelated artistic depictions. And after the onslaught of comic character stomps this season I’m even more eager to see how they do this. Also, I’m pretty sure Sun Wukong will stomp Heracles.

Thank you so much for the love my guy. I’m gonna start posting videos as often as I can despite my issues. I’m not gonna lie they made Tetsuo A lot more powerful than I thought he was so initially I was going for him. But the next time, this is going to be something to see. They’ve never done mythological characters like that before so this is gonna be a fun one. Lol everybody is underestimating Hercules. My moneys on him

@@IvanimalReacts trust me, I'm not underestimating Heracles at all. He held up the entirety of the heavens, which could be interpreted as holding up the universe. He choked out the Nemean Lion to get around its hide that cannot be pierced by any blade. He wrestled Cerberus out of Hades. These are huge, absolutely astounding feats, especially if taken as literally as possible and given the highest estimations. That said, Sun Wukong is simply on another level. He possesses 7 different forms of immortality (the gods of Greek myth can still be killed, and Heracles was in fact killed through poison). He has mastered every form of fighting in existence (Heracles is a master of wrestling, but a dabbler in most others). He can jump to the edge of the universe in a single bound (a feat of speed surpassing anything Heracles has ever been conceived of doing). His staff can extend as far as he likes, meaning that even if Heracles has a strength advantage in a close up fight, Sun Wukong always has the speed to put distance between them and a method of long range battle. He knows magic spells (something Heracles lacks entirely) which can do anything from commanding the weather to creating protective barriers to freezing demons and gods alike. His mobility advantage continues with his flying cloud, something Heracles has no answer to. He can create clones of himself, each as powerful as the original, for a numerical advantage. His 72 transformations allow him to become essentially any animal or object he wants (and I'll admit Heracles has a lot of experience fighting varied opponents and coming up with creative solutions, but never back to back in a prolonged encounter). But even if we were to say that Heracles is stronger and more powerful, his 72 transformations (a number which isn't *literal* it's a spiritual number that metaphorically translates to infinite) he can also become a copy of Heracles himself. So he can create thousands of clones of himself that are all Heracles. Heracles traveled with Jason and the Argonauts, and battled in the Trojan War but wasn't the deciding factor. Sun Wukong single handedly battled the Celestial Army which has as many soldiers are there are stars in the sky, and won in a single battle. Sun Wukong frightens the very gods and commands them, with the Buddha as the single one and only exception, and in the end of his story achieves Nirvana and becomes a Buddha himself anyway, which means ascending beyond the concept of existence and being capable of manipulating reality however he wants. No matter the interpretation, Heracles is always still bound by the concept of reality while Sun Wukong simply... Isn't. It all comes down to the foundational culture of the two mythologies. Greek mythology is all about reflecting humanity in the gods. Of course Zeus, king of the gods, abuses his authority. That's what kings *do*. Of course Poseidon is moody, turning from a friendly bro to a raging psycho at the drop of a hat, that's what the ocean *does.* And Heracles is the god of Strength and Heroes, but heroes are still human, and humanity is flawed. Sun Wukong is a being that shows any limit can be overcome right up until you overcome humanity's concept of existence itself. That's why he is inherently broken beyond human understanding.
