I've seen Mr. DeJohnette many times over the years. I love how, in this video, you can clearly hear the tip of the stick hitting the ride cymbal. He's always had the sweetest cymbal sound.

Great view of Jack and what he does with all his four limbs. We can see clearly here that Jack is NOT feathering the bass drum.

Great trio. Now one in this video, has been fiming at Chick Correa, on the piano. Just at the end, we see him standing up, at the end of the composition. Strange. Not the first tiem, as people are not filming the piano or jazz-organ player. Maybe the way the person, on the public were sitting ,was not able to see and to film toward the gran piano.

one of the rare KZitem critical comments I can respect AND disagree with. I'm a dyed in the wool DeJohnette guy....I've learned from and loved both of the guys you mentioned, and I ate up what Jack did in this...but you had a good taste to attribute it to your preference! I could imagine Billy Higgins on this and you just get a different stew. BTW....part of the issue is that the drums are right up against that iPhone mic
