That looks like a really nice yak! Looks like they got a lot of the little annoyances of kayaks figured out. Hope it lives up to the hype!

I'm pretty sure that no matter which kayak you use, weight distribution will always play into keeping it level.

To an extent that's true. I just noticed it more on the Knarr. I've owned a BigRig, Coosa, Bite, and Vibe Sea Ghost in the past and none of them shifted that much with so little weight. Not a huge deal but it is kind of annoying

Do you ever pedal it with the rods stored in the factory holders? From the video it looked like there was decent room to but another video I watched, the guy mentioned putting some straps at the halfway point of the rod to pull them towards the sides. Was just curious on your take as I’m looking for a kayak and been looking at native kayaks, but saw this model in a video and am kind of interested in them as well.

I do, but I usually don't like having rods stored on both sides simply because I like having more room to measure fish on my ketch on the floor of the kayak. I also just like having more room in general, so I'll often use the left side storage and leave the right side open. Just my personal preference. I've seen guys do the strap you mentioned to and maybe I'll try that some day

@@bigfishbucketlist thanks for the info. How is the speed and stability on this yak? How tall are you? Do you have any dislikes about this yak? Also, did you say you drive a semi?

@Brad Kiser the speed is great! It has good secondary stability but primary could be better IMO. That's just the way they designed it for the extra speed and to cut through waves so it's a give and take. I don't like the steering on it. Many Knarr owners have had issues with the steering knobs consistently coming loose requiring you to adjust the tension a lot. I know Jackson is in the works of a solution but right now we're stuck with it. No I do not drive a semi 🙂

Depending on how the steering knobs are secured and put together you might try a little locktight to keep things from loosening up
