As one of those whose who is "watching my long hair turning grey"....I can really appreciate the myriad of emotions and thoughts he so accurately captures in this song. James, you are the voice of so many different factions of our society...keep it up. Your music & lyrics are as good as any "Lonesome Dove" (though I loved that, too!).

Lyrical master. Sometimes I fee like people who are regarded as good lyricists try too hard and it seems forced...like they're saying "look at me, I can write interesting lyrics." But with James, it seems effortless. The way he tells stories with his songs is unreal.

Love all of JM songs..know hes on the left side of things..so bummed that BO got re-elected and will run us into a socialist society and i will pay more taxes..hope my kids have social security in 30 years when they need it...and the country is not owned by CHINA..
