I love listening to James. In the pantheon of singer songwriters with Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt and Lyle Lovett for sure. My only hope is there will be some that reach for the torch when these guys are passing it to them. Thank you for many years of warmth for my soul James.

This was such good company on a September eve that I listened to it twice. Friday nights are especially covid lonesome these days, so thank you to those who made this happen. I was lucky to catch Pat McDonald/Timbuk3 many times at the Crystal Corner Bar in Madison, Wisconsin - sometime during the late 70's to mid 80's. While I have strong vegetarian tendencies, I put them all down for a Katz's pastrami sandwich. It was a peak life experience! Thanks again to Mr. McMurtry and company. I've been a fan for many years.

Ah James it's good to see your crabbit auld face. I've just come home from having major lung surgery and was feeling depressed when I suddenly had Choctaw bingo running through my head and a little light popped up and YES that's the answer. I started to just listen to albums music but I realised I needed to see your ugly mug as well. Guess what, I'm not depressed anymore but happy actually happy. Thanks you so much for being your brilliant self. Love from Glasgow.

I had to add this. Much of my free time in college was spent with my song writing friend, Larry Good. When he would play his 12 sting Takamine, my Soul would soar. Not sure why but I really love the musical sound & frequency of a 12 string acoustic guitar. Thanks for the opportunity to relive those memories.

Awesome. I watched this on Facebook, but had to come here for an encore performance. Love the songs. Love that James takes a stand on issues regardless of losing his right-wing 'fans'. Rock-on, James. I can't wait to hear what you come up with, next!

What's really a shame is that those "right-wing" folks aren't really all that right wing, if they could only see it. They're stuck in a narrative, same as the old Democrat who's been voting for the Dems since JFK and who has no idea of the extent that their party has been complicit in selling out the people of this country. I'm one of those former right-wingers. I'd vote for a socialist if that person made me think that as a guy who values his country and his religion, I was wanted. But I'm not, and I don't. Anyhow, don't mean to go down the rabbit hole. Love James' music.

He's a lot more Trump-conservative than neocon. I can't see him backing wars overseas or condoning trillions spent overseas while we suffer in America, both core Trump/Nationalist values.

There are better singer songwriters - creating poetic lyrics with more subtle craft, more effortlessly deployed against more intricate accompaniment. It's just that nobody's met them yet. Till then, this is about the best we can do.
