James Worthy will always have a place in my heart. Short but long story: 1987, Taste of Chicago, 3-on-3 classic. Worthy, Wilkins, Ewing playing against a team coached by Jordan. Worthy runs to the crowd and snatches a young 10 year old me, eventually puts me on his shoulders and I get me a dunk in this event. Back page of the Chicago Sun-Times. Live in LA now, hope to run into him just to see if he might remember it.

So people could make the argument he was better, but then on the flip side vouch for Worthy and his playoff greatness and how his game changed from the regular to postseason, especially in the Finals. Regardless both are underrated to an extent, but I don’t think TMac comes in the Top 10 of Underrated Players in my Opinion. I look at guys who really were borderline/weak All-NBA caliber, but more so strong All Star caliber for underrated guys imo.
