A lot of it also depends on what kind of filling; I'm willing to just eat a cold strawberry or cherry pop tart, but if it's a fancy one like Boston Cream Pie or hot fudge sundae, then I will definitely heat it so the filling is nice and gooey and warm.

I didn't know Wild Berry and Smores were popular flavors! Most Poptart discourse Americans seem to have is about classic flavors like Cinnamon Brown Sugar and Frosted Strawberry, as most convivence stores and vending machines carry either or. My school only carried one other flavor of Fudge Sundae in their vending machines.

The temperature I eat my poptarts at depends on the flavor. For the classic cherry flavor poptarts I like to heat them up in a microwave for a minute to a minute and a half, and then let them cool down until they are just warm. When I do it like that, some of the jam inside the poptart will harden a little and become chewy, and I really like that texture. With most other flavors, I just slap 'em into a toaster to warm up. I haven't really tried any frozen poptarts, but I imagine the milkshake or hot fudge sundae flavor would be great frozen.

My favorite poptarts are cinnamon and cookies n’ cream, but I’ve never actually toasted the cookies one because it feels less stable than the others and I don’t want it to break apart in my toaster lol I usually eat them at room temperature, and put the second one in a bag to eat later Also when I was a kid I used to break off the edge pieces that didnt have frosting on them and I didn’t eat those parts. I eat it all now though because that was wasteful
