Great to hear the progress dude! I’ve been doing immersion properly for 4ish months now after also using other methods with little success, and the progress is just really satisfying. I wish you success as you continue!

Great progress man! I'm probs around the same level/point as u but I've been doing mia for like 8 months lol (I slacked loads at the start lmao). I've also been doing a similar thing with the monolingual dic and stuff but when it comes to watching things I really have alot a work to do (pretty much just gotta watch more) to be able to really feel "comfortable" with it but either way I'm getting there I guess. But anyway good job man you've really made alot of progress since the 3 month vid, keep it up! Also hope u get your books soon coz trust me you'll have a blast reading them!

Just discovered your channel. Good luck on the studies. (I'll never do kanji study again). Did you do that 1000 deck from Matt. If so, I'd advice you to continue your kanji studies later

you've completely missed the point of MIA if you think someone would be able to speak at all after such a short amount of time

This is just my opinion and feel free to ignore it, but if you've been done with Rtk for 3 months now why would you spend your time on 6 more months? Maybe I misunderstood. I haven't done any reading yet but through a little searching I found a raw manga site called raw.senmanga . com. So if you're still hurting for reading material maybe that will help. all in all I hope your studies work great for you! I'm glad your video was recommended to me.

Should I do RTK ? I never did that, didn’t real appeal to me. Is it a good resource ?
@shacksonsolar

@@RayZin yes it's a godlike resource. Look through matts website the Mass immersion approach and get the recognition RTK Anki deck. With those ones you only have to remember one English word per kanji. It makes looking at sentences easier cause you can add words to familiar kanji. For example the word kimashita, 来ました since I did RTK I'm actually familiar with this kanji and know that the English key word is 'come' which happens in this case to be exactly what it means. Reading will be easy when I don't have to work so hard to remember which kanji is which

@joey yamaguchi What are you looking for? Maybe I'll be able to help
@shacksonsolar

@joey yamaguchi kana or kanji? Either way the answer is the same. You never stop doing immersion you just balance it with your studies. Study your hiragana katakana, after that either study basic grammar or basic vocab order depends on your gut instinct. Kanji is optional to study but if you choose to do an recognition RTK I would do it before vocab and grammar. All in all do what you can handle that way you don't burn out
