that's cuz he's a genius.....he's just been on a crazy streak....he let all the fame and paparazzi and sick, twisted, fucked up industry get the best of him, because he's always been the same guy but now he just doesn't make that soulful type music we love him for. That soulful sampling we love him for from College Dropout and Late Registration....Graduation to me is his first masterpiece, his MDBTF was his overall masterpiece of all his styles of music put in one....I just feel Graduation doesn't have one bad song and it was another FRESH style to rap at the time. TLOP is more blending in with the sounds of hip-hop today, sonically. Yeezus was a bad experiment but it was at least all Ye, his own style, but ppl like me weren't feelin it.

“The black album second verse is like devils pie save some desert for us.” So many layers. Another reference to D’anaglo who has a song called devil pie as his second on song on his sophomore album. Another reference The second verse of this song is marked with sinful indulgence, specifically in killing others. Similar indulgence in pie or another dessert, indulging in sin may feel great at while one is doing it, but it could potentially affect one negatively afterward. The term “Devil’s Pie” could be a euphemism for such sin.

Kanye has never been humble, you had to have been new to Kanye when you posted this. Did you not listen to College Dropout (specifically last call where he’s shitting on people who didn’t believe in him) and see his first Grammy speech?

this is one if the creepiest clips I've ever seen...the man said " I've never read the bible, i don't even know what i said".... yet he delivers a masterpiece of a verse, then goes and sits in a corner by himself rubbing his head in confusion and shock of what just came out of him....If that's not proof of the spiritual world i don't know what is!!

I believe because he doesn't truly believe in God the father and the son, he doesn't know who to give the credit to when it comes to his gifts and talents, because gifts are not earthly callings, they are sent from heaven. The bible has a verse where it talks about how your gifts will surround you with many ppl and will make room for you.

You don't have to have read the Bible to know what he said. He wasn't recting verses or psalms. He memorizes his lyrics. He can pick things up from what he's heard anywhere and be inspired by the chorus. The clip of him rubbing his head was cut together. He looked like he was tired to me. But depending on your beliefs, you'll interpret it accordingly.

Brah him going back to the corner and rubbing his head is literally him thinking of what the rest of the track is going to be like and how he’s about to approach the rest of the beat... it gotta be da devil when a brother exercises his talent 😪

These comments are hilarious. The song which they sample is reggae song by Max Romeo which talks about chasing Lucifer out of planet earth. Here's some of the lyrics: "Lucifer son of the morning, I'm gonna chase you out of earth I'm gonna put on a iron shirt and chase Satan out of Earth I'm gonna put on a iron shirt and chase the devil out of Earth I'm gonna send him to outer space to find another race I'm gonna send him to outer space to find another race"
