Very well said, this is neither rock, blues or jazz . Can we just call it "Hendrix"?

Everyone can we please stop tryna categorize his music into a certain type of genre or rank him and other legends among who’s the greatest to ever pick up a guitar. Rather can we just appreciate the original and unique sound he was able to produce and release for us all to love and cherish even now almost 53 years after his death. The man may not have been the greatest in your eyes but that’s cool music is all subjective anyways. But there’s no denying the simple fact this man had heart and soul and poured every ounce of emotion into his playing. Such soulful playing that everyone who is and isn’t a fan has been affected by the music he was able to create and the way his music is still able to hit us deep down right in the soul every time you hear him. I’ve listened to his band of gypsies album over a thousand times and the beginning of that album when he eases into that riff on who knows, to this day it still gives me goosebumps and of course machine gun too. Anyways Hendrix was such a gifted talent and beautiful soul that was taken too early yet he’s left us with such an impressive catalogue of music that never fails to blow my mind and his music is and always will be timeless.

a little more alien spontaneous and discombobulated psychedelic at the beginning blues but then if you listen to the song it really goes into a solid blues groove towards the second half and the latter part of it he was definitely working on a new style of music that he never finished which is a shame but this testament remains and Jimi hendrix's music will live on forever

This song and its versions by Jimi hav always been a fav of mine. Personally, love the so labeled 'a little more alien spontaneous and discombobulated psychedelic' part at the beginning.

Yeah! The Guy was "All mixed up"!!! Rock, blues, jazz, middle eastern, Indian(India) patterns "with all his Twists and turns" and stretching!!! Quite a unique individual he was! BUT, he's probably more popular now than ever before!!? Live ON Jimi!!!

Is that Rock & Roll? No. Is it Blues? No. Jazz obviously also not. What else? James Allen Hendrix heading for a new type of music getting all bits together. The most interesting tunes from Jimi come out of his last year. I would like his murderers roast in hell as they took away one of the most creative and talented musicians of the 20th century. In my opinion Jimi would have incorporated now - would he be still living - all chances of electronic sound generating and classic patterns. So sad.

Villanova Junction de HENDRIX considéré comme étant techniquement extrêmement difficile à jouer à la guitare selon L ,OBS@ce virtuose musicien instrumentiste étant capable de jouer rythmiques et solistes tout en chantant en même temps @
