Recipe
200 grams thinly sliced topside beef
Tenderise with
1 heaped tsp bicarbonate soda
2 tbls water
Tenderise for 40 minutes then completely remove the bi carb in water
After 40 minutes Marinate with
1 heaped tsp Jimmy's sate sauce
1 tbls dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tbls vegetable oil
Marinate for 1 hour and then sear in vegetable,set aside
Sauce
72 grams Jimmy's sate sauce
230 ml water
1 & 1/2 tbls sugar
1 & 1/4 tsp MSG
1/2 tbls potato starch
Sarsons gravy browning,just add a few drops
Cook the sauce on a high heat until it thickens
Veg
Green bell pepper
Onions
Method
Stir fry the green pepper and onions until cooked then return the beef back to the
wok,heat through and serve
Pour some of the sauce over the beef once ready
Note this is not a full on peanut satay sauce but more of a gravy.
My son doesn't like peanut satay but loves this.He described it as just a beautiful gravy and perfect for this type of dish
Some restaurants i've been to serve it this way also,basically how i came up with idea
If satay is not your thing then i would say this is good alternative.

In all my videos i use a high power burner so cooking temperature's may vary cooking on a normal hob.
