Nearly every gun massacre in recent history occurred in a "Gun free zone" where the good guys were not allowed to pack personal protection / a real shame as those school shootings could have been minimized if a good guy stepped in & dropped the guilty with a precise kill shot to stop the deranged psycho maniac criminal from hurting more innocent life. Most of us responsible hunter naturalists are too busy talking to the birds and hunting berries and mushrooms and not out publicizing our earth responsibility on the internet. Some of us find resources in the wild, and want to cultivate it so next time there will be more, otherwise its a long drive of shame out to Walmart for burgers and salad. Big production farm meat makes me want to be vegan, and I am when I can't get fish or meat from the wild or a responsible small farm. I think less than 5% of hunters I've met are just big kids who wanna be rambunctious nuts and shoot cans and drink beer, and they never find elk or grouse.

Met Uncle Ted several times. He is a great guy to talk with. I also got to meet & have breakfast with Fred Bear when II was about 10 yrs old. My wildlife, hunting & fishing life Coach, my Grandfather. Saw Fred when we were in downtown Grayling. My granddad starting talking with him & Fred invited us to eat with him! What I remember most about about Fred he talked to “me” not down to me. When he told his hunting stories it was like I was with him. A great man as was my Grandfather. I’ve been hunting 40+years & I still feel my Grandfathers presence & I hear him whispering in my ear to make a good clean shot, I owe that to the animal. We also give praise to the great Spirit for the gift of the animal. My kids have been taught the same way, & hours of shooting our bows! Not about the kill, it’s about the hunt

Nugent has said that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton "should be tried for treason & hung," and called Obama a "subhuman mongrel" and Clinton a "devilbitch." On Facebook he shared a video depiction of Clinton being murdered by Bernie Sanders with a handgun, commenting "I got your guncontrol right here bitch." He had an Obama doll hung from a tree on his frontyard. Nugent stated: "apartheid isn't that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal." He described black South Africans as "a different breed of man" who "still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands". Nugent wielded what appeared to be automatic rifles as he made obscene comments about Democratic Party presidential aspirants Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and California's senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, stating: "Obama, he's a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun. Let's hear it for him. And then I was in New York. I said, "Hey, Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch. Since I'm in California, how about Barbara Boxer, she might want to suck on my machine gun. And Dianne Feinstein, ride one of these you worthless whore." In March, 2018, Nugent criticized the survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting who became gun control activists, calling them "mushy brained children" and stating that "the evidence is irrefutable: They have no soul." He also shit and pissed his same pair of pants for a week to avoid being drafted into Vietnam like the absolute pussy he is. To top it off, he had sex with multiple underage girls, and has a song with the following lyrics: "Well I don´t care if you're just thirteen / You look too good to be true / I just know that you´re probably clean / There's one lil' thing I got to do to you". Where are you pizzagaters when you've got a real pedo in front of you? praising him? lmao

Damn ... 80 years old and I only have four ... what a loser ... especially considering that I inherited two of them. ... but maybe not so gone, I have a bow, that I bought 50 years ago ... no arrows though, lost them all when I first went hunting with it, actually it was only 'road hunting', and unplanned at that, just had the bow along in my Land-Cruiser off 4wheeling with my wife when I spotted a Grouse along the trail ... I shot so many arrows (only had a few so had to retrieve them in order to make the next shot) that the bird decided that I was no threat to the degree that I got closer and closer ... finally, I had only one left, and it was broken at that, but by then I could walk right up to the bird and stand right over it, I could have knocked it off with only a swing of the bow, but had to stay true to 'the sport' so shot down on it with the last broken arrow (sounds sort of noble doesn't it? an example of single minded 'discipline'?) ... anyway, I guess that is why they call those birds 'fools hens' ... the question though is which of us was the greater fool?

Please, tell me the fascinating parts. I listened to the whole thing and there wasn't anything that anyone with a remote knowledge of him doesn't already know. He supports gun rights, hates libtards, and loves hunting. Now where is all the fascinating stuff?
Darth Revan I just found it extremely interesting that he's lived such a unique life compared to many rock stars of his time. He was able to avoid falling into dangerous drug addiction, and found ways of expressing joy and true spirituality through other things like hunting. I was also fucking amazed that at 70 years old he is still able to dominate a conversation with Joe "Long Form Conversations" Rogan. What were you expecting from him??

Jesus Christ, really? I have almost no problem with his hunting philosophies but HOLY SHIT is he a self aggrandizing asshole, that can't even take a breath to not stop talking about himself. It's pretty common, the reality is, that his self esteem is SOOO low that he feels the need to always boast himself up and not let anyone else talk for fear of exposure. Your talking about a perpetually ingrained teenager, not someone to look up to.

Honestly, Joe and Ted opened my eyes about hunting. I love animals but I also love meat. Hunting used to seem cruel to me, but I still ate meat that was harvested in a much crueler way. The way they portrayed hunting showed me that it is an art that takes courage and skill. On top of that, hunters seem to be the most animal-friendly people as they are focused on humanely killing the animal, respecting its life, etc. rather than treating it like nothing. I definitely would love to go hunting sometime after listening to this.
@georgehake9659

Google "first recorded school shooting" and click the first link. Brutal school shootings have been happening in the USA since the 1800s. It increases like clockwork over time as I can only assume more incidents are being reported because more people can read/write and the invention of radio. While I agree with most of Ted's philosophy, he is utterly wrong and ignorant when he claimed no school shootings happened when he was a kid. There just wasn't the communication technology we have now. He probably would have gained that perspective had he simply completed a college degree. Strange that he hasn't done that given his thirst for knowledge and immense free time.

"(Political disclaimer) xoxo all good things." Why do we feel the need to do this? (Adding political disclaimers when it is irrelevant to the comment.) I do it too... I guess its bc people assume you agree with everything if you agree with one thing about someone. It is exhausting really .

Humans have for tens of thousands of years been hunter-gatherers ever since the first human walked on the earth. It's in our DNA. Modern farming is a relatively recent invention. Almost everything we eat comes from what was once a living thing, whether it was a plant or animal. And that's a fact of life.

@@TheScrubmuffin69 I dont know how old you are, but when I was in middle school, kids would bring knives to school that they stole from their parents or relatives. Kids got bullied and told other kids they would kill themselves. I remember standing in line for lunch, and this kid named William pushed a disabled kid named Nathan, and cut him in line. I definitely did something about that. The problem is, people need to do something about bullying. We need more employees at our schools....whether it be guards or teachers, so they can report mentally unstable characters. So they can intervene in scenarios like the one I mentioned. If you watched this whole video, then you would have changed your mind about gun control. Guessing you are against guns that is. Listening to the two these men have opened my mind up more about the subject. Not to get hostile, but to steer the conversation away from guarding banks/money and not our schools is a fucking joke! Even if guns were banned, how would you stop a kid, or adult from stabbing 3 kids in a row? Or bringing homemade bombs to school that they made from kitchen chemicals?

I have always thought Nugent was "different from the rest", which is what is really attractive. He is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Pretty decent individual.
