Thankful he survived many near fatalities over his career , and turned his life around - I think he became a born again Christian , and he has given thanks and glory to God because of his sobriety . The good Lord has delivered many of us , myself included . I remember listening to Joe give an interview about “Rocky Mountain Way “ - he said if he knew he would’ve had to play that song 5,000 times , he wouldn’t have written it ! Pretty funny hearing him say that . Thanks for many decades of pleasing your fans Joe ! Love ya brother !

Oh, so very good is this performance. --[1] On today, 12/9/23, it's hard to believe that this concert was 40 years ago. --[2] Questions: a) At what festival was this concert? b) Who are the good bass player & especially the really strong drummer? --[c] Who is the hot babe background singer? Today, 12/9/23, she is probably a 70-year-old grandma with 10 grandchildren. 😲😲😁👍 --[3] We saw Joe & the Eagles in Nov 2022, here in New Orleans. The best non-vocal line of this Hotel California Eagles concert was Joe's line: "You know? It was better for me to be in my 20s in the 70s, than to be 75 in the 20s." Being 75, one year younger than Joe, Joe was so very correct. 🤣😂😁😁 Richard

One of my most memorable moments in a 30+ year ham radio "career" was the night I heard this unmistakable voice on the 80 or 40 meter band I was tuned into....heard the callsign and first name so I looked it up in the database: sure enough, THE Joe Walsh gabbing with his pals. And he was FUNNY!!! Walsh being an extra class operator and myself a general class, the section of the band he was operating on was outside my privileges. Could only listen in to him!!! 😢
