Fogerty wrote and sang of things he never experienced, crafted a legendary sound, and caused a generation to envision places and scenes thought up in his own mind. Amazing.

Yes, John Fogerty is a legend. It's great to see him in such good form. CCR were around (and admired) back in 67/68 when I lived in London. The band was great then, with different members, These members are no more. John Fogerty prevailed still as good, or better. Great rock'n'roll.

John Fogerty is surely one of the most underrated singers in rock, and I'm not just talking about singer-guitarists. He still has all his old range and sounds GREAT. True he doesn't have all that abrasive grit but hey he doesn't need it! His voice already has such character.

I knew he could still sing his ass off, but he's better at lead guitar now than he ever was. And It's amazing to me.. usually when you go see someone like him they only play the hits, even though they have tones of other material. In Fogerty's case he only wrote hits. What a talent.

My Celtic cousin John Fogarty comes from a land called Tír na nÓg, The Land of the Ever Young and just like his music. John music still sounds as fresh today as the first day it was released. John and Creedence Clearwater revival music is a very happy music with sometimes a very serious human message made. Everybody and the whole world loves John and Creedence Clearwater revival, Rory Gallagher and Thin Lizzy music because their very rear brilliant qualities, this will never change for as long as the world keeps spinning

I have a quick question to American fans here ... Can anyone tell me why CCR and JF solo recordings are never played on country music radio stations? Too heavy for country music format? But Jason Aldean for instance sounds a lot heavier and is nevertheless regarded as a country music star ... Any thoughts? - Moscow, Russia
