Brilliant.. Since practising somatic exercises, I have felt a lot of relief..versus doing yoga [which I teach]..I'm incorporating someof the simpler stuff into my yoga class for elders..they love it... I'm an elder too.. Bless you for so freely offering this . So easy to follow and so beautifully slow...

Greetings John, Thank you so much for this fantastic teaching of Hanna's work. I have been in a three year program studying clinical somatics for about a year now. So much SMA in my super tight hamstrings I had avoided going there for all this time. Huge improvement today. Very nice teaching. It really helped. -Eric Cooper

hamstrings? I felt it mostly at my pelvis / lower back. My hips are so tight. This exercise was killing! I need to incorporate this into my daily (morning) routine. Love all your videos, there are very very instructive. Thank you so much for uploading.

When putting my right leg bent and to the side, after the exercise on the left leg I almost could not straighten my right leg. I have pain in my right pelvis. Very sore IT band and constant ache close to my SI joint. This was very good and I will incorporate it into my movements. I'm new to somatics.

Cramps hamstrings Could not finish, but, thanks the breathing tip helped. I could not bend at all my back hindered me but, you did minister to me. about I my shallow breathing, thanks.

This one ist brilliant, I love it. My legs felt so "light" afterwards. I wish there would be something similar for the upper body. With hits little movements... (Perhaps then in the legs to get the upper body "free")... does anyone know?

This movement sequence was a bit of a shocker elevating sensations in problematic areas that don't even show up when I take a ballet or pilates class. I'm also new to somatics.

As an ex-hurdler I'm very wary of that hurdler stretch - it's become notorious for causing issues for the bent knee, which can experience unnatural torsions. These days good coaches advise strongly against it. Just saying ...
