Very down to earth guy. I have listen to there music for nearly 30 yrs. I promise this is the first time I've ever heard h John speak. Nice guy.

I agree with John, She's gone is the best. I used to drive by the abandoned luncheonette everyday to work, when I heard that song I knew these guys were either gonna be really big, or a one-hit wonder.

writers are seldom understood.... we write words that never make sense... we live by feel... of the past or present we are to relive ….. who we began as.... find you again... that re write we are.... over and over again... easy to think we are crazy …. we are …. that try to make crazy real...…. that we all live..... and fall in lllove with..... that is crazy …...lllllllove….. we all are if we do ….lllllove any one.... we just hope we tame that crazy llllllllove we are to b e.... I understand that need to stay home..... I do as well..... just be me..... with my one.....

love that about you.... a one not holding onto the past..... letting the future decide how you will go.. we all must be that... moving on....reinventing who we are.. a new phase.....we go to...life can not stay were it was.....we move on and try to be a new one saying the message we want to say......you are that guy......

I saw John Oates in concert a couple of years ago -- a tiny Philly area venue seating maybe 300. Oates was personable, funny, and really really good. And he said he had his first date at that venue when he was a teenager. (it was an old movie theater.)
