I know this is an old Story and most people won't see this comment, but I was born in the 70's and grew up watching Wonder World everyday, so much so that every fact that came out of my mouth such as "hey mum did you know....." she would ask, where did you learn that "Wonder World" I loved Wonder World, so I started a youtube channel called Wonder World and I even trademarked the name Wonder World after the original shows trademark ran out. my whole channel is based around small unique stories like what Wonder World the original did, so far I have had a lot of success and I hope it continues to grow, and help the name Wonder World live on.

Remembering Edith Bliss (who passed in 2012 at just 52 ) and, ofcourse, Jono. You guys made Wonderworld watchable and entertaining. Fond memories of Woodrow too! Simon Townsend lives in a Sydney retirement home after suffering a series of debilitating strokes. He lost his wife of 27 years, Rosanna, in 2004 and his first love Kerrie (who he reunited with after Rosanna's death) in 2015. Sometimes the world really isn’t that wonderful :-(

Just discovered this vid. Always watched STWW after school. Thanks to all who made the show. . Although I was young at the time, I remember many, many, years ago, even further away (pre-STWW) seeing an even younger Jono, appear in an advert for a certain brand of fruit cake. The theme of the advert was to the tune of Never on a Sunday (something along the lines of 'you can eat it on a Monday, a Monday, a Monday...'). And there was Jono, appearing at the very end all dressed up as a cherubic alter boy wearing full ruffles, with the catch-cry 'you can even eat it on a Sunday', before gleefully chomping down on the said piece of cake. Why do I vividly remember this? It is because the theme was so catchy, as was Jono's profound words at the end, it became the catch-cry of all the kids at my and nearby schools. Hopefully this description will prompt Jono's memory of the advert. To us all at the time, it was a classic! haha Fond memories. Can't remember the cake brand tho. Top Taste, Susan Day or...? Cheers PS I hated fruit cake... lol
