Thank you for sharing. I love how the Josephine chain turns out. I also love how you explain how to do it, very clear and easy to understand. I have just learnt how to needle tat recently since Christmas and loving every minute of it. I have been trying to learn how to shuttle tat but the reversing for shuttle has got my brain frazzled. I am a lefty in a righty's world.

Chris Clark Thank you so much Chris. I am so happy you enjoy them. More will be coming soon. I am currently working on videos for Georgia Seitz online tatting classes for the next years classes. Huge undertaking for sure but really enjoying it and once they have been released in the classes they will be up for public viewing. There promises to be alot of new needle techniques and more advanced techniques for both shuttle and needle so keep watching.. Happy Tatting

When you do a josephine spiral for example a pendant for A BOOKMARK do you continue on and on wrapping your thread around every 10 half stitches and pulling THRU to lock your stitches or do you continue on to the desired length?

Hi..I'm new to tatting and I'm doing a mini doilie that calls for doing 2 Josephine Knots (coming off a ring) with little gaps between them. I've tried over and over and am doing something wrong..when I close the Josephine Knot I can't seem to get it to a single thread...I always have 2 threads. Any help advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your generosity and time you put into these videos.

Hi Belinda and thank you for watching. I also make the videos for Georgia Seitz online classes. Here is a link to the video on both the josephine ring or also called knot as well as the josephine chain. Maybe this will help you better to see what you could be doing wrong. Also if your working with bare thread space then you would only use one shuttle then you would have the one single thread. kzitem.info/news/bejne/x5qG0op9rWWmkmk Hope this helps you and Happy Tatting
