Why do Shuri-te influenced/combined styles shoot that kick so far out to front+right? I've always presumed that this is a kick to the lower end of femoral nerve or inside the knee area, at a fist-a-cuff 'grapple range' commensurate closer to along the lines where you would be in Randori. They don't allow KSTG in Judo for safety reasons obviously, but the implication is there I feel. I have been hard pressed to find ANY Naha exclusive styles that interpret that kick at anywhere OTHER than what could be feasibly 'dancing-range.' Thank you in advance for your response.
