Such good memories, ideal song to start your day and get in a good mood ipso-facto. I absolutely love it.

Ironically, one of Israel's greatest composers (Yoni Rechter) composed only one song out of all of Kaveret's songs (The first 1 minute song).

That’s the end of the show for tonight, But here’s one short song before we’re done. Only five or six more minutes left before they turn off the lights, And we go out to the buses. The electricity has worked very hard tonight, And the loudspeaker is exhausted, or maybe it’s just tired. The chairs are very bitter, "When are we getting folded!" And we’re no exception, except-

@guymunk Really? Thanks I didn't know I still find it ironic how Yoni composed such a few number of songs with Kaveret

WHY ARE THEY LIP-SYNCING WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS EVERYTHING IS MIC'D AND THEY CAN PLAY THE STUFF LIVE????? I just don't understand it.

I don't think they are. I have this album and the differences between the recording and this performance, though subtle, exist, particularly in the vocals (compare their trills and vibratos).

@@vaniamelamed5285 the album was remixed when they put it on CD back in the 80’s, so there are lots of subtle little differences in the mix between that and the original LP. Everything in this video (and the whole set of videos from this TV recording) is mimed to the studio recording though

I think the audience is hearing what theyre playing and singing, and it was broadcasted with the recorded version

Look, when I was in Eretz Yisroel in '78, it was all BeeGees; Saturday Night Fever, which was all well and good. If they lip-synched and dubbed in their sounds, they're just being 'Progressive' like so many others. Nice set, Kaveret

Oh yeah, and one of the boys does a good impression of Roger Daltrey, whereas I can't decide about another one who seems to be a cross between Mickey Dolenz (Monkees) or Chris Squire (YES). These Poogies came to my synagogue in suburban Maryland, but in all likelihood, I was still checking out The Archies.
