@@Aberamentho2010You're probably right about running costs and cornering speeds between the two. I thought the R7 had more HP. Personally I am really disappointed by Honda. Especially given they only offer us neutered leaner legal versions of the 650R's. Then introduce the "new" 600RR at practically twice the cost of the previous generation. Basically they practically have nothing to offer the average consumer with a full licence in both their Sports or Streets range. The Hornet only being a very recent exception. As such I'm going team Green for the ZX6R. Waiting for the 6th of June as to whether they'll release an updated version.

I would go with the R7 if you want more power. The ZX-4R is going to feel the same because it is still the same displacement. To get more power it just has a higher red redline. So unless she just likes going full throttle without speeding it would be good. Horse power isn't the number you need to look at. It basically shows it's max speed. Torque shows how much work the bike can do at any given RPM and torque is what pulls you back in the seat when you take off. The higher your torque compared to your weight the faster you are off the line and the more powerful your bike actually feels.
