i remember for years, schecter hellraisers being kind of a meme and butt of a lot of jokes in the guitar community but I've been playing schecters for years, even the cheap ones play well and are dependable. as i've stepped up the models I've owned over the years I've never been disappointed. My neck step up is definitely going to be one of these and I'm really looking forward to it.

Started with the classic starter pack guitar and amp combo, few years later, teenage me got a Schecter telecaster dark brown burst with a black pickguard. ( xmas gift) few years later when I was knee deep embedded into the metal, another Schecter, this time a Hellraiser, seemed like the appropriate choice for a Jeff Loomis fan boy. Doubled my happiness with a 7 string Hellraiser 7 years later, and now tomorrow, I have arriving to my gaff, a KM MIII Schechter in blue/red burst. Within the next 10 years, I will have a custom shop Schecter and that is a guarantee. I love these guitars, every one of them I have ever played is quality. Even the cheap ones I've come across in my travels. Delighted to have discovered these guitars early, seems to have bled a lot of 'guitar bullshit' out of my life even If I didn't realize it at the time. XD

I own the KM7 MKII, together with a lower end Schecter 6-string (Omen Extreme) and both are absolutely wonderful guitars. I have installed a Black Winter in the bridge of my 6-string (which now sounds absolutely terrific and worlds apart from what it was before) and I record all my stuff on these guitars. Granted, I do have some issues with them. Mainly that the action on the KM is way too high (the store probably set it up like that, they usually don't sell 7-strings at all) and something's wrong with the volume pot, but I'm gonna get that fixed. Hoping to get the MKIII 6-string model so I can have some higher end there as well. I'm really pleased with the sound of all your signature-gear I have tried so far ^^ Edit: I forgot to say, I wanted to thank you. For all your music, your content, your gear, just everything. You were my main inspiration for starting to write and produce my own music and without you I wouldn't be where I am right now. So... I guess you kinda changed my life, you have every right to be fucking proud of your work!
