Might be another Reed Richards level reach, but Kendrick yells out "Remember?", a constant line from the song Worst Behavior. In that song Drake talks about how mfers never loved them, I believe Kendrick is alluding to that being the case. Dot could also be saying that he's currently on his worst behavior. Or he could just be making fun of what he thought was a corny attempt by Drake to act and sound tough. Edit: He also make reference to Drake being called the boy and the man he hasn't seen yet. In Worst Behavior Drake raps "now the boy is the man/ mfer I done grewd up"

Deciphering it I think Drake is trying to overcompensate for his blackness. That’s would kendrick is alluding too. The reason why no one mentions cole is because he doesn’t go out his way to prove he is black. He understand he is black. Drake on the other hand is code switching a lot which isnt always bad but if your gonna be one way then just be that with everyone. Also the j prince line is hard but he is alluding to drake pretending to be a killer like j prince jr son but in actuality they are both are from the suburbs.

In the beginning of the song Daylyt talks about writing for Drake and going uncredited but he had problem with drake not elevating him. Keep doing what you're doing big bro. You have no idea how many people you're inspiring just to venture out and step outside of their comfort zone. I've been watching you for a very long time and i've loved the growth every step of the way! Big fans in North Carolina!

Another thing that I thought of when it came to the Benjamin and Jackson line is an initial flip on the Drake "20V1" line and a Benjamin is = $100 and a Jackson = $20 so 100+20 = 120 = 1V20 Where Kendrick is the 1. Also it was known that Joe Jackson used to beat his sons if they didn't get the moves right so he is also saying that he is beating Drake. Could be a reach but with it being Kendrick it was on purpose in my opinion.

I’m so glad you brought up the back to back line. I’ve been thinking about it all day and haven’t heard anyone bring it up. Now with all the extra 9 minute rumors I’m wondering if he has the bars recorded and if they’ll come before or after any potential proof drops

Peace and blessings, Rob. Really dig the new series. Continue to keep the authenticity in journalism and representing for Hip-Hop. I know there’s not an actual title for this series, I’d like to suggest, “Me, Personally With Rob Markman”. Ha.

Agree with you but u still missing point with "how many more blk features.." part, it's double entendre. Dot calling out Drakes need for MUSIC features from black people. From the beginning with lil Wayne, to weeknd (take care), future, 21, yachty etc.. he has always needed features (music collabs) from them so Aubrey can “get” respect in the rap game/black culture. Why you think he’s tried so hard with Kendrick and ASAP (CA & NY fansbases) early in their career, Drake will change the narrative and say he gave them the favor..he was relevant in ATL bc of future & 21 eras.. how many more “songs” with black features till he feel black enough 😂

@@RobMarkman yea I was right it was as a double entendre. That “Not Like us “ verse where Kendrick names 6 rappers from ATL confirming drake cultured vulture’d to fit. that whole ATL/slave part was barz, especially considering ATL is also home to MLK & Underground Railroad history back in the chain days

Thank you Rob!! I gotta say, I watched a bunch of reaction videos from others just to see what others were saying and that was a mistake. The deep dives from people who understand lyrics are way better!

Once again my man coming through with quality content and integrity to not weigh into the more salacious aspects without confirmation. Easiest sub to a channel I’ve done in a minute on KZitem. Keep it up fam.
