@5:00 - Well he wasn't entirely wrong. This belief was likely encouraged by legitimate observations of individuals, (who'd become more 'excited' after a serious bite), quickly declining in health, compared to those more calmly rushing for medical aid. The excitability was likely related to the dilation of capillaries, increased heart rate, a more expediant rushing of blood to the area of injury - then returned to the heart, and generally a more-quickly spreading of the venom (before the body can even begin to mount some sort of defense.) Staying calm and expediting your arrival to an emergency facility would likely increase your chances of survival. But I'm just guessing here.
