I'm beyond thrilled that my fiction piece was chosen for a Peek & Critique. How lucky can a writer be? Your comments and suggestions are invaluable. I thought what you said about improving my piece was spot-on. Thank you! I look forward to hearing your comments each week. You always offer something new to help improve writers' craft.

I was wondering if the first one (Inventor of the Impossible) is a little older than PB - like a chapter book maybe? There is so much there i can't imagine it just being a picture book, it seems like it needs to be longer & for slightly older kids...

@@yvonafast2724 Hey, you may have a point there, Yvona! I could see the voice going a little older for sure ... so maybe an older PB/young chapter book...?

The second piece snippet is gorgeous (they're all wonderful in their own way) and reminds me a bit of Wendy Mass's A Mango-Shaped Space on Synesthesia.
