I tried this today to mixup my routine and boy was it a shock to my system. I thought my fitness was ok but this was a challenge. I had to drop my weights down to lower ones half way through. Now that I'm finished it feels good. Thank you PJ!!!

That was a sweaty one. And educational too for Push-Ups. LH has been doing it wrong just as you have demonstrated, outward arms and high hips. I am going to show him your video and give it one last try…..or it it really true that “ you can’t teach old dog new tricks”?

Even after 2 years of faithfully doing your workouts and challenges, this one really did me in! And I HATE pushups but my personal challenge (@ age 68) is to be able to do 10 - 15 on my toes. Thanks for the inspiration PJ!

Got this one in before unfortunately having to stop the challenge for a few days, but will start all over in a week ASAP yeah❤I'm red as a beetroot and don't think I've felt that I've done exercise like that for quite a long time. Not sure that I'm ever gonna stop those elbows going outto the side on my push ups, but I sure as heck am going to work for it. Mother's day in France today and I've just proved how strong we mum's can be 😊 💪

I started the challenge today due to my work schedule this week. I got through it. It wasn’t pretty but I finished. Even did the push up section. Thanks PJ for explaining the push up technique so well. Maybe I’ll grow to love them. Lol. 😂😂😂

This was a great start to the week and I love focussing on press-ups at the end. I have always done them on my knees but am going to endeavour to get the technique over the next few weeks. Thanks PJ ps I have just ordered bikinis for my holiday (why should the 15-year-old wear one and not me?! Just a slightly different style now I am in my 40s but feeling confident!!)

Oh, my GOD. I did the Unstoppable challenge and got through it. I didn't kill it, the way some people did, but I finished it. And, I admit, I went back to my regular daily "moderate" exercise with MAYBE one push day a week. I forgot how hard these workouts are! And how accomplished (and tired) I am at the end! Hoo, buddy!!!

@PJ started this with you today. I am 44 and i weigh 67 kilos. I am aiming to lose belly fat and thigh fat, would the metcon program help? I am also on a protein diet. Want to lose 8 kilos.

The only way to lose body fat is to be in a calorie deficit! Remember you can't spot reduce and all exercise is beneficial to gain strength, endurance, flexibility etc 😃

🔥 Yay! The Ignite Challenge is back! I ground through in a really good way! I used a pair of 5# for the shoulder press to tricep extension, and 20# and 10# for the rest of the moves. Last time I used 20#, 8#, and 5#. I can still hopscotch at a steady and deliberate pace. I dearly need to perfect my pushup, so here we go! Max bpm 140. Thanks for scheduling this one again, PJ!❤

Wow, I improved since the first time I did this workout. Was able to use 12lbs and the 20 lb dumbbells. When I first did this workout during the challenge I used 10 and 15. Love metcons, thank PJ

I was looking forward to the Ignite Challenge and then I got gobsmacked by a nasty-ass respiratory virus. I've been down for the count for almost a week. So, for my first day back, I figured I'd get right back in the saddle....and by that I mean (now that I'm done!) holding onto the saddlehorn for dear life and just keeping my damn feet moving at all times. But - I did it! I finished the whole workout - EVEN THE PUSH-UPS! And I feel like I've sweated out whatever nasty little germs might still think they can live in my bod. What I also wanted to say was - as much as I appreciate the daily calendar - my life at this very moment doesn't allow me to workout every day but I'm normally getting in at least 3-4 times a week and with PJ - I never feel guilty because I'm not doing every workout. I'm doing my best and I know that's good enough for me. And at the end of the day - that's who matters most with my exercising. You're the best PJ!!!❤

This was great, PJ! I love MetCon workouts, they are so good for getting that heart rate up and keeping it up, while also working on strength. I like to mix it up in my fitness, so sometimes I do straight strength workouts, sometimes cardio, or sometimes a MetCon like this (and also stretching, can't forget that!). By the 4th round I was definitely getting fatigued, but I finished strong! 💪Pushups have always been my nemesis 😒, and even those negative pushups were difficult for me. Thank you for a fantastic workout! I was laid up with a monster migraine most of the day yesterday, so it felt good to get moving again today. 😊

I've been with you a while, and I love your challenges, but I must admit, this 1st day was tough for me. 🥵 'Had to have different dumbbells as I found I had to go down for some of the moves. Even the hopscotch challenged my coordination 😅 I look forward to doing this again next time with more consistent weights and better coordination 😊❤ Day 1, done!

I did this last night and it was hard. I was breathing hard and had to stop the video at times. Also, the row to triceps kickback I found too difficult with 10 lb weights on the kickback. I can row much more than I can kickback, so I stuck with the row, only trying a few kickbacks and using the 7 lb weights on the triceps overhead move.

Yes - you will absolutely be able to row more that you can kickback. With these combination moves you will have to use a lighter weight than you would normally use for a row only move 😃

This was a challenging work out had to do some of the alternatives not quite back into the push-ups yet still have some inflammation in my right shoulder, but definitely gets the heart pumping and a good sweat on!

It was fun to do this one again and realize how beneficial the Ignite challenge was- Im much more confident with my pushups now than I was when i did day 1 the first time around!
