This stove is NOT priced for everyone, we know that. Our next stove in progress now will be much less costly and be robotically built. We are working on even more accessories, more heat output and aimed at the main stream housing market. Kimberly was not designed with price in mind, she was a technical dream come true, now to produce something far more people will be able to afford! Thanks

I sold 13 lines of stoves over a 25 year period before making a very unusual stove of impeccable quality which costs far less to install. Price a Pacific Energy Alderlea t4 ( one of my favorites) add the floor pad, class A chimney, wall protection, labor (if needed) shipping......what ever eh? Most finished costs will run 3500 and up for a quality package. We are not much different as our pipe, floor pad, shipping, labor (if needed) etc are all greatly reduced.

How do you feel about the $3500 price tag for this stove, a little steep or you had no problem paying that?

Wish they were still only $3500

Sure, I'll be glad to get some education. What features would you like me to weight? Against what stoves would you like me to compare? What are the others stoves in your price range? If you want me to educate myself on stoves certainly you have a list of stoves priced in the same ranged as yours? Yes?

I've been pricing stoves for the tiny house we are planning. We live in Canada and want it to be efficient in heating with as long a burn time as possible. Size of footprint in our home is also important. There are several small stoves for half price or less but have a burn rate of 3 to 4 hours max. How will that help us in a typical prairie winter? Some of my favourite smallish-mid size efficient stoves run close to the price of the Kimberly like the Esse Ironheart and the La Nordica Rosa- both are well built and have small ovens, a feature we want. Then some are alike or less expensive like Hearthstone and JA Roby (no oven) but all of these require special considerations in pipe diameter and some in length of pipe (12' minimum), wall fire guards etc., have higher emissions and fuel consumption per hour to get the equivalent heat output They also pack a heavy weight which is an important consideration in a tiny home. Add extras like paint finish and chrome and the price keeps climbing. It seems if the weight, size and price are desirable the burn time isn't. We keep coming back to the Kimberly. It was built as if made for our needs. The stove will be at the end nearest my daughters loft so high safety standards are extremely important. It's miserly consumption of wood is a huge selling feature as is it's ultra low emissions. We care about how we impact our world and it's resources. I'm very interested in all the coming accessories...a little oven, yes! These stoves aren't cheap but I think that if finding a bargain stove with high BTU's is the most important factor for you and space/weight aren't so much an issue then there is a market niche for that as well. To John Donaway: For all the reason I mentioned previously I will have no problem paying the price tag on this extremely well engineered stove. It's the heart of the house in many ways and we feel our most important purchase/investment besides our foundation.

Hi John. Numerous people have written us and said that they feel that this investment was one of the best decisions they have ever made. Maybe you should get some education about this and other stoves such as: end cost ( our stove runs average when all is said and done due to greatly reduced installation costs and fueling to name a few. We also have features NO OTHER stove can offer.

OMG,,,,What he did was crazy; I'm lmao,,,,,He bypassed the actual heater part by cutting a hole in the top and venting straight out. Being the heater part, he basically ruined it. The re-heater is no longer working and he can't even warm up a cup of coffee with it now. I take it this guy is from Canada. About the only heat he will get is from the hot glass. I also noticed he had a space hearer right by it. So much time, work and money just to ruin the thing. Enough said, but I just can't stop laughing at this stupidity. He had to add a fan OMG, I'm ROTFLMAO... I guess it gets cold where he is, I'm in Texas where we just rub our hands together to stay warm! It's STUPID of UNFORGETTABLEFIRELLC for BLOCKING MY COMMENTS because of this comment! Can't take the facts UnforttableFire LLC? Get a life, this is You Tube!
