This was very informative! I'm learning to make spore suspensions for my Master's research. One thing different though, is you diluted before filtering; I wonder if you do so because you are very familiar with the spore-producing ability your culture that you are using.

Awesome. I understand why you use anti-bacterials for the first plating of the fungal sample, but why when you re-plate it on V8 agar the 2nd time do you NOT use antibiotics? Because the colony is presumed pure and bacteria free?
