Problems galore what with machinery repairs, storm damage and the track on the digger. That field of wheat does look good.Hope you get some more beet lifted.Pigs look well and nicely bedded down and a good tour of the machinery fleet.

We get a lot of problems with adopted grounds where the tree stakes aren't treated and literally rot after 3 years. Doesn't help when they put spindly 2 inch untreated ones in and expect a 12 foot tree to hold. We pay 9 quid for 3 inch treated ones and they last a min of 10 years.

Old machines always breakdown so do newones but if there new there under warranty, but it's the initial outlay but once you got on the ladder so to speak you can change them every three years or so and your not paying to much to change, think old kit is false economy but in these days buying new without a decent trade in is mega expensive as you will know, just my opinion Richard

Great video as always....too true Phil's plough is unique... you described it as 4 furrow,... a reversible with 10 mouldboards.... Sure that was before the pub not after? .... My Yorkshire lass is equally inventive in the maths department... 😬😬 Pleased you like Wardy... as a former small acreage farmer but having worked on a cross section of 500 /1300 acre farms when young. I do believe, though different; both yourself and Andrew Ward are the most informative to the general public. PS... Scarborough girl tolerates Wardy, but loves you.... Well, she would.... You've got livestock....and a great sense of humour. Best wishes Antony.

A great sunrise even if best was missed. Must be a real dilemma, 2nd hand or new tractors and costs. Glad hire digger limped to better ground.

Best thing to no rot in wood fencing is pressure treated tanalizing, it was banned because main produst was arsonic, the other good product was old fashioned creosort, unfortunetly it put Carinogen in humans causing skin cancer, there is other products but no way as good, (old creosort was banned in 2003 & tanalizing well before)

Breakdowns seem to come in waves I find, just have to get over them and pay up😩. We’ve had a couple of trees down but not too bad, worst was being underwater again 😖. Sick of the floods this winter!!

Fence post even though treated these days don’t last long at all Not be long before you have your own 5 ton digger very handy tool to have in yard. Pigs the more straw the better for them lay and play in
we have posts that have been in 40 years they are getting a bit worse off they were european larch then we went onto tanalized and were ok for a while bot tanalized posts then started to come yellow instead of green crack wsa theyd stopped putting a chemical in that was doing the buisness hence they didnt last long creoseart wants to have cold tar in our joiner said, we have posts that just lasted 5 or 6 years and it pisses you off after spending time putting a good fence up and posts are to renew after a few years
