A corn dog is a sausage (usually a hot dog) that has been skewered, coated in a cornmeal batter, and deep-fried. Corndog is staple street food in American cuisine. Unlike American corn dogs, Korean corn dogs use a wheat or rice flour batter and variety of toppings like cornmeal, ramen and potatoes resulting in a chewier texture.

If you’re frying without a deep fryer, make sure to rotate the hotdogs constantly to keep the batter from falling in one side. Another tip is to have one person coating them and one person on fry duty. Else Freeze them for 10 min and reshape it before frying..
