Yeah, this kills the ana vidovic performance circling around. I am looking for a performance where the vibrato is slow, elegant, and creates a nice tonal interplay against the pace of the piece.

I am not understanding whith you Carpediemeuh. You say the guy doesn't have enough expression. Remember you are in a catedral, God's house and you have to be humble in this place! Ana Vidovic lets her fire temperament overtake her entertainment; it can be usefull in some pieces of music but not in that one!

Every guitar player in the world can improve. And the good thing about classical guitar and players like the one in this video is you know that they are working. The problem is that there are a lot of annoying guitarist who feel that they need to give a master class in each video, just because they can play and "know" about music. Offering they're criticisms and opinions as if the players in the videos aren't receiving it from the teachers...
@filipenevescurral

i agree. one of the things that anoye me a little bit, in both ana and in denis azabagic is that every piece that they play is always in presto, lol. in some pieces it stays cool, but i mean to play the prelude 4 (when its speed is "lento") very fast, it stays a little bit shitty. i mean, they have a lot o technique, but at the end of the day, if they are always playing fast, they will lack feeling when playing. some pieces were simply not meant to be played fast.
@lordronin593

Well, I agree that technical perfection is something different than music, although in my opinion that is not a relevant matter in this performance.. one of the thing I really like in this one is the feel in it, especially in the first two parts, subtle, sensitive..... But I've heard a lot of pieces which would fit the description you gave, so I know what you mean.. a pity you don't hear the other elements in this piece though, I am very fond of it.

This is a recording of Shinichi Fukuda (福田進一)'s performance ~26 years ago. They're equally impressive with different interpretation. I prefer Denis' overall performance as well. But I like Fukuda's tone a bit better for this particular piece, especially, the first movement.

When you perform any piece, you should always play it at a comfortable speed. The performer seemed to be accelerating faster and faster during the third movement. Overall, it was a good performance but he needs a lot of work to play this piece better.
@KungFuMaster1972
One more thing - I feel he is rushing the third movement. In-fact, he is playing it so fast - the rhythm in quite a few sections are off. If he can slow it down just one notch, his performance of this third movement will shine much better IMO.
