Dr. @@danielblac Can you make a similar lecture for the determination of nitrate concentration using photospectrometry?! Please.

Hi Daniel, may I ask for the microplate reader, what is the volume of the sample and what is the volume for reagent mix? Thanks!

I’m having hard time finding potassium antimonyl tartrare. Where can I find it? Is there any alternative chemical for potassium antimonyl tartrare

Use the malachite green method, it is about 3x more precise and more stable.

Thank you for this but I think there is a mistake when dividing the with the slope,. You divided by 0.397 instead of 0.3597.

Hi Daniel! What standard have you use to do the curve calibration? It was a phosphate Standard or a phosphorus Standard? I didn't see the standard going to the hot plate so I am in doubt which one was used to this experiment. Even if was used a phosphate Standard to the curve calibration it was still be necessary to take them to the digestion on the hot plate?

Hi, in this case the standard was prepared in-house using potassium phosphate.

@@danielblac So it doens't have to go to the digestion in hot plate, right? I'm asking cause I am really having some discussions in lab about this with my coworkers. They are pretty sure that the potassium phosphate have to go to the digestion before doing the calibration curve for phosphorus determination but I desagree with that. I would like to know your opnion. Thank you!
