This video features a short ride from Lincoln/Cypress Station through Chinatown Station to Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles.
I think these LRVs are made just for the Gold Line. Notice how the announcement says, "This is: Chinatown Station" besides "Now arriving: Chinatown Station."
I wish at least one of these cars operated on the section from Pico/Aliso Station to Atlantic Station! For some reason, only 1-car trains are running on the Gold Line Eastside Extension, while 2-car trains are running on the Foothill Extension. This is probably due to how much demand there is for transportation in East LA, Monterey Park, and Montebello.
I wonder how the train announcements will be like on the Blue Line and Expo Line. There may be a mix of the "This is..." and "Now arriving..."
Another thing I observed is that there are about three voices on Metro Rail announcements. The most noticeable would be the Red Line as the new voiceover is taking over the old one.
