My son has the youth field stick from Traditional Lacrosse and he loves throwing around with it. It actually throws very well...there is a little click when the ball comes off the scoop, but lots of people like that. It's only a few inches shorter than his metal and plastic sticks, and for $125, I thought it was a great deal for the craftsmanship and work put in.

You should review HickoryLax.com, they have modern hickory and ash shafts. its a family owned company, and they have other specialties like engraving, and laminate shafts. The really cool thing is that any modern head will fit on one of these shafts, and they are solid hickory.

Tom, would you recommended a box on or a field one. I just want to get one to hang on the wall and occasionally take it down to have some fun with. Not to be played in a game.

+Grizzly Lacrosse I don't know. I only have the box version. If you're not going to use it much, you might want to just get the one that you like the looks of more.

This is where you get the best made wooden sticks made by the master. kzitem.info/news/bejne/yomluG2lgHmhgpg Oh, and let your stick feel a muddy ball, use it. Those who make these laugh at folks who buy them and baby them or put them over their mantle. They're lacrosse sticks made to be used. I have one (from the master) and I use it.

no they use southern sticks the ones that are one piece and have the head in the middle they are the only ones that use two sticks i think they call it stick ball when they play with the trad sticks its more common for them to play in games with those they have whole tourneys down there
