Lasode Ki Kanji | लसोड़े की कांजी/ Gum Berry in Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
600 gms. lasode, boiled 3 tbs. mustard seed
1½ tbs. oil ⅙ tsp. turmeric powder
Piece of red chilli ¼ tsp. mustard seeds
Few curry leaves salt to taste
Method
Boil lasode in water and strain. Grind mustard powder, adding little water at a time to make a paste. Add salt and water and transfer to glass or porcelain bowl. Add the lasode and set aside for 2 days. Heat oil in a wok, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and turmeric powder and season the mix. Store in a glass or porcelain jar.
