I wish I had a t-shirt with a big image of your laundry basket of electric tools that said 'Let's get all Grandiose & Delusional'. And on the back? 'Look at the Size of those Staples!' or 'What's Stopping You?' or maybe 'It's on Straight, I'll be Damned'. You make me laugh ~ Love. k

I am not sure if it has already been suggested, but liquid nails might help hold the bottom of the frame to the wall. Regardless I just love you and all the hard work you put into your home. You've been inspiring me for the last 3 or 4 years! Thank you for letting us be a part of you life. Keep up the good, and hard work!

Let me tell you something, my husband thinks I watch a lot of useless videos with hauls and try ons and things like that. the other day I was watching one and he says to me, "why don't you watch the French lady, she a smart one and has more to offer than these other silly videos you watch". I thought you might appreciate that. He says KZitem has changed so much, its nothing like it used to be. Your laundry room it turning out great.

A friend had an unfinished basement. He bought cheap twin flat sheets at Wal-Mart and covered his ceiling. It looked great! He used twin sheets because they were easier to handle. He used a power stapler and stapled them to the rafters. It really cut down on the dust from the ceiling and he just cut holes for the light fixtures. Just a thought!🙄

Your hard work looks great! Unless you look up, no one will realize the room is not carpenter finished. As a possible solution for your laundry soaps etc storage on the shelf and that corner by the toilet that you don't care for, is a small tower storage cupboard with a door which would also reduce the look of clutter that you are trying to avoid. Nice job...Paper

I love your creativity and positive attitude. When plan A doesn't work you immediately come up with plan B. Your laundry room is looking very nice. I was hoping you would choose a pretty print fabric for the curtains. I really like all your fabric choices in other parts of your home and also your quilts. Then you could choose one of the colors in the fabric to use on accent pieces. Maybe a picture or sign and accent rug. I just think your eye would be drawn to the color and it would also be cheerful. Although your idea of having the curtains white to blend in with the pipes and wall is probably best. You always do a fabulous job!

Sophia is looking better except for the ceiling! Do what I did. I took panelling the skinny kind in patterns of planks. I cut it to fit just beyond the walls. It was fitted above the walls and under the cables. Cuts for lights, pipes , etc were made before and after. Those made after the pieces were held with strong tape which was covered with paint, resulting in a beautiful ceiling which is not nailed but just serving as ceiling for the laundry too. You might consider using the same paneling to encase the toilet. It comes in many patterns. Good luck finishing your laundry room.

Wow, this is overkill. All you really needed to do was glue some trim around the windows and hang your curtains. If the wires are bugging you, get a pipe strap and tap them up to the joist. Don't overthink it.

I'm having a hard time understanding why you would add curtains. More "stuff" to take of! I would use the same vinyl decal-stuff you used in your bathroom. It will let in the light and wipe clean, but you'll never have to take it down to laundry it. Yes, I do realize you've already done the work and I do admire your talent!!
