I didn't see low stretching slide like that of Djokovic or Alcaraz. Are those not recommended unless you stretch a lot? Also, how about when they take a long wide step right or left, with heel first and then slide? I guess that's a very advanced slide? I've seen almost all int'l ranked juniors do it at a local torunament.

The low stretching slide is very dynamic and requires a lot of strength & flexibility. This is something I would not advise for the general public. Yes you will be evenly placed with your foot when sliding, weight slightly on the back leg to allow your front leg to glide
