Also turn your hands facing outwards from your body. Like how you would on dip bars but on the bench. If they're faced inwards you're more likely to cause injury.

Wrong you need to move your palm facing the other side, I tried this way and it didn’t hit my Tricep causing an almost shoulder impingement

Probably like flexible shoulders. Unhealthy shoulders could get injured in exercises like this one where the shoulders are involved in the movement

@@ACcoachrob updated, im know how to do it now but it isn't effective as diamond push up so im do diamonds push up instead (wrist stop hurting when im do diamonds push up) but thank you for taking your time to try and help me lol im used to get frustrated when im can't do this properly and just give up
