Thoughts On Low Energy/Off Days:
⭐️Take a rest day. Go easier.
⭐️Still move and eat right, but, remember…GENTLE nudges.
Do lighter movements for the day.
👉Rather than pushing hard on the weights and reaching a new personal record (PR), go for a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or do some active movement and stretching.
👉Rather than get down on yourself for having a “low” day, and eating way more food or the wrong foods, pad the macros a little to give you a boost/soothe the system.
👉Don’t resort to all or nothing behavior. That was the past. It never worked for you. If it did, you wouldn’t be struggling now.
👉Don’t rush to the finish line. Health and wellness is a lifelong endeavor. There is no end goal. It’s just constant, continuous steps in the right direction.
⭐️Let’s set us up for success, not repeating old, destructive patterns that keep us from life-long improvements.
