Thank you! For people that don’t have an upholstery stapler: Can it be done jus with glue/cement? What glue/cement do you recommend for this? What is the best way to apply the glue (without a gun)? Great videos!!

What type of staple gun did you use? The factory staples are 1/8" length. I can't seem to find one that will shoot that size. Thanks.
@oldschoolautoupholstery
Жыл бұрын
Hello Brase, Using contact cement is much easier to use for center console covers as sometimes the plastic lid can become brittle and shatter with an air powered staple. If i do have to use 1/4 " staples for thinner projects, I shoot them at a 45 degree angle so they will not penetrate so much. Please keep liking and watching!

So I have to ask... what would the difference in price be if they came to you and asked for a custom job, and got a perfect result? 10% 20% 100% more? Updating this to let you know that I have been smiling throughout this job.
@oldschoolautoupholstery

Hello Duane, I'm not sure how to answer that. The person doing the work has the freedom to charge what ever they want. Really it's about throwing out a price you feel is higher than normal and if the customer agrees, Score! You can always discount your price to get the job if you want. Thanks for watching!
