stumbled across this in 2022. Really impressed with how much (as we now definitely know) accurate and good information on masking you were able to provide in this video. You mention filtering material, the fact that the virus is airborne, fit testing, and the benefits of universal masking. Well done and Thank You. The masks also look really nice and I am considering making a similar one to cover my FFP2 (mine is a "duck bill" type mask).

Cool mask! You could sandwich a stiff wire into the pad you made for the nose bridge, and that would allow you to bend the top into a shape that would fit your face better, just like the metal nose band in a legit N95 mask.

Hey, Clever! Little tip (a few years late, sorry) When running out of dye for leather, grab a Sharpie! My very first leather project was a belt pouch for my wallet so I didn't have to sit on it while driving an 18 wheeler 14 hours a day. All I had was a wheel cutter, some scrap leather, some quick rivets and a sharpie. That was 9 years ago. The first that went on it (about 3 months ago) was one of the quick rivets. The color is still holding fast and clean.
